#HTML #touch optimizations: remove zoom behaviour

Oscar Brito

When building a web app it's often needed to remove the zoom behavior that the web pages have on mobile browsers. You can do it in two ways:

Remove by using HTML meta property:

<meta name="viewport" content="..., user-scalable=no" />

Remove by using CSS rule:

/* suppress default touch action like double-tap zoom */
a, button {
-ms-touch-action: none;
touch-action: none;
}
